You would be down during the winter every morning, thinking there might be something there and plenty going down. You wouldn’t get anything but you’d be down during the winter to gather. Oh, you wouldn’t be there alone. There were other people as well down gathering for themselves. I was going to school at that time. Maybe I was thirteen years old. You wouldn’t be kept unless sea rods were coming in.
