Tá iarsmaí ón seansaol le fáil ar an dá oileán seo tá Teampall Cholmcille ar an mBaile Thoir agus is cosúil mura dtáinig Colm Cille é féin go dtí Inis Gé go dtáinig duine dhá chuid manaí agus gur bhunaigh sé an teampaillín.

There are remnants from ancient times to be found on these two islands; there is St. Colmcille’s Church on Baile Thoir and it seems that if Colm Cille himself did not come to Inis Gé, one of his monks did and founded the little church.
