B'fhéidir gur rófhlaithiúil a bhíodh cuid de na teifigh go dtarraingíodh sé, go mbíodh sé dhá dtarraingt orthu, ach is minic a bhíodh lántí acu i gcuid de na tithe agus chuile theach eile ar an mbaile, b'fhéidir nach mbeadh fear ar bith ann ná duine ar bith ann.

Perhaps some of the refugees used to be too generous, that it would attract it, that it would be attracting it to them, but often they used to have full houses in some of the houses and in every other house in the town, perhaps there wouldn't be any man there or anyone there.
